STUDENT AND YOUNG PROFESSIONALS OUTREACH

Student and Young Professional Outreach is the essence of Olami. Partnering with national and regional organizations, local rabbis and outreach initiatives, Olami extends opportunities for students worldwide to learn and grow.

Olami's rabbis and educators devote their time, home, and creativity to guide students with diverse Jewish learning backgrounds. Leveraging innovative fellowships, on-campus learning, social activities and particularly, through Shabbos experiences, students and their mentors cultivate a stronger connection with Torah and Hashem.

With the slogan “Inspring Jewish Greatness”, Olami aims to achieve this through Torah learning, mentorship relationships, and shared Jewish experiences.

Explore below to learn more about some of our fantastic prgrams designed for engaging with students on campus and young professionals.

MAIMONIDES LEADERSHIP PROGRAM AND OTHER LEARNING PROGRAMS

Maimonides is the flagship educational program for most Campus Outreach organizations. At Maimonides, students learn about Judaism in a friendly environment, build community through shared ideas and Shabbaton experiences, and earn stipends for trips to Israel, Poland, or other educational programs.

SHABBATONS AND SHABBOS ON CAMPUS

The power of the Jewish home is on display at the Shabbos tables of campus couples and in the communities that support the work that Olami does. In an increasingly fast-paced world, Olami students are tasting the rare air of Shabbos, thanks to our programming.

ISRAEL TRIPS (AND BEYOND...)

Olami sponsors student involvement in trips to Israel, as well as learning and leadership trips to Poland and other locations in North America and beyond. These trips provide students an off-site opportunity to learn more intensely, connect with friends and mentors, and examine their commitments to their own Jewish futures.

ONE-ON-ONE LEARNING AND MENTORSHIP

Relationships are the bedrock of outreach education, and students flock to our educators for one-on-one learning and personal guidance. Our busy rabbis and rebbetzins meet students in their homes, in campus buildings, at workplaces, in coffee shops and at Hillels.

SPECIAL REGIONAL AND INTERNATIONAL PROGRAMS

Olami is a network that spreads across North America and around the World. Educators benefit from collaboration with colleagues in other cities, and often arrange shared Shabbatons and Trips with other student and YP groups. In 2016, Olami held its first ever global Summit, bringing 1000 students together in Sao Paulo, Brazil.
