PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT

Working in outreach and education is a great job, but it’s not always an easy one. And many of the skills and settings that are essential to your success are new and challenging. Olami actively supports the work of our talented men and women as they begin their careers and as they grow into managers, fundraisers, and even transition into other roles in the Jewish community. Our team of managers visits and stays in close touch with our men and women in the field. Our community of colleagues share ideas and collaborate on the phone, in person, and through our closed email and social media groups.

Together with our partners at Ner Le’Elef, we assist our people in the field with teaching materials and phone-based professional seminars. Our once-a-year Mekarvim Conference for men and Mekarvos Conference for women bring us together for idea sharing and training from management experts and senior educators. Our Research and Development meetings, Fundraising Roundtables, Team Meetings, and Management Institutes held at various times and in various places around the country, help us be sure that our work is meeting student needs in the most up-to-date ways.
